Problem I: Project X

Objectives:

This project allow you to draw on your on own interests for subject matter and formal considerations in designing your own project. The creative freedom of this project will require you to establish parameters for yourself and a timetable for completion, which you will discuss individually with me. You are asked to generate an ambitious vision and to give it form. This is the most fundamental aspect of all creativity and the most exciting part of artistic practice. Hopefully, you will learn something about yourself and your own potential along the way.

Requirements:

Generate sketches and descriptions for three ideas for this project. Take into consideration the language of materials and form. Create plans for how you will proceed to build each idea. We will discuss these directed study projects individually.
